Midlothian Public Works is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant
The position requires an enthusiastic, highly organized individual with excellent organizational skills, strong clerical and bookkeeping skills, proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Word, Excel and Access, is detail-oriented, and interested in performing a variety of functions. The individual must be customer service oriented, interact well with the public and staff and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. A minimum of 2 years related experience is required.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, during normal working hours; occasional overtime may be required. Benefits provided by the Village include paid vacation and sick leave, life, medical and dental insurance, 10 paid holidays and retirement plan. The salary range for this position is $28K – $32K DOQ.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a background check and physical examination at the Village’s expense.
