The Village of Richton Park is seeking a part-time Code Enforcement Officer (CEO). Applicant’s shall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D., a valid Illinois drivers’ license, be able to demonstrate computer literacy with the Windows Office Suite, Database Management Systems and have above average oral and written communication skills. The CEO is responsible for enforcing the Village’s adopted property maintenance, building, zoning and codified ordinances. Job duties include, but are not limited to performing residential re-occupancy inspections, field patrol and observation for determining housing, property maintenance, building, zoning and codified ordinance violations; and various administrative support activities for the Department of Community Development. Candidates must be available to work all shifts, including nights and weekends, (flexible scheduling possible).
