CNT publishes white paper on drinking water affordability in Robbins

The primarily African-American residents of Robbins, Illinois pay a higher rate for water than 80% of all municipalities in the region – and that rate will increase. Why? As population declines, each household must pay a higher share of the total cost to purchase water and maintain aging infrastructure, and the Village’s ability to provide its customers with some bill relief is limited. The

Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) worked with the RainReady Robbins Steering Committee to research causes and offer potential solutions to this crisis. Click here to read the White paper.
