CMAP seeks public comment on proposed FFY 2016-2020 CMAQ program and the proposed FFY 2015-2017 Tran

CMAP has released the proposed FFY 2016-2020 Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) program and the proposed FFY 2015-2017 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) for a public review and comment period. CMAP has developed a $274 million five-year program of CMAQ projects that improve air quality and mitigate congestion. The TAP program is $28 million program of bicycle facility projects that helps complete the Regional Greenways and Trails Plan. Excel spreadsheet versions of the programs are available below. Public comments can be submitted via email (info@cmap.illinois.gov) through 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015. Please include “CMAQ-TAP Public Comment” in the subject line of the email.  Comments may also be submitted by mail to CMAP, ATTN CMAQ-TAP Public Comment, 233 S.
