Chicago Heights seeks ownership of six parcels for scrap metal company

The Cook County Board on Wednesday referred to its Legislation and Intergovernmental Relations Committee a measure by which Chicago Heights is asking for control over six parcels of land, five of which are vacant, through the county’s No Cash Bid program.
