The annual Labor Day and back-to-school parade in Robbins was extra special this year because the village also was marking its 100th anniversary.
Mayor Tyrone Ward said Sunday’s parade drew an estimated 6,000 people and had about 100 entries and floats.
“This is beyond our expectations,” he said.
