It is with great sadness that the Village of Mokena announces the passing of former Mayor Ronald J. Grotovsky. Born November 3, 1943, Mr. Grotovsky served as a Village of Mokena Trustee from 1981-1985, and from 1987-1989. He was elected Mayor in 1989 and re-elected in 1993, serving two full four-year terms in the office.
